In addition this year, Friday night will also feature the District 64 Evaluation Contest.
Note: The Evaluation Contest begins at 5:30 PM. Saturday Morning The District Council meeting will be followed by a high impact workshop by Toastmaster Stephanie Staples ( BIO ) that will leave you feeling energized. Stephanie is the owner of Your Life Unlimited ( WEBSITE ) and the author of "When Enlightening Strikes - Creating a Mindset for Uncommon Success" Saturday Luncheon It wouldn't be a cruise without another buffet. The luncheon will also feature the District 64 Communication & Leadership award presentation to this year's recipient, Ron Robinson, co-founder of McNally Robinson Bookstores, CBC Radio One talk show host and Thespian. Saturday Afternoon After lunch, you will enjoy two fabuous workshops that will both motivate you as well as help you to develop your leadership skills. The first of these workshops is presented by Toastmaster Bev Doern ( INFO ). The second is presented by Toastmaster Joan McAulay, DTM. Joan is the Past District Governor 2008-2009 from District 42. Saturday afternoon will also feature the Distirct 64 Humorous Speech Contest which starts at 5:00 PM and will see the funniest speakers in District 64 battle it out for top honours. Saturday Night Banquet The Captain's Dinner is a formal gala featuring a jazz trio with Wally Larson and presentation of District 64 awards. It will also feature a keynote address by Toastmaster Theo Kowalchuk ( WEBSITE | BIO ), president of 1 Life Workplace Safety & Health and Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. Theo will inspire you to live your life on purpose.
