What a year! It's hard to imagine that twelve months have passed since I took on the role of District Governor. I think you'll all agree that we have acieved Greatness Through Growth. I want to express my gratitude to all the members of District 64 for making this year both memorable and distinguished. With just four hours left in my term as District Governor, I look back over the previous twelve months with a mixture of exceptional elation and satisfaction. Our team has worked very hard to enhance the Toastmasters experience for all the members of District 64. It's important that I thank all of the various people that served on committees, Area Governors, Division Governors; All of you have worked exceptionally hard to ensure that each member achieves Greatness Through Growth. It has been an amazing journey made so much more so by the teams that I have worked with. I would like to thank Robert Legary and Monique Levesque-Pharoah, the past District Governors that I had the honour to work with over the last three years. Their commitment to our membership is unparalleled. I want to thank our International Director Lyle Appleyard for always being there with his quiet stoicism and unwavering support providing tremendous advice and assistance when required and at the same time allowing me to make my own mistakes. I want to thank my home clubs Young Professionals and Sunrise Speakers for tolerating my often absence and unending support throughout the past three years. I could not have been successful without your help. Most importantly, I want to both thank and congratulate Scott Winning and Catriona Younger for surviving my term as District Governor. We did not always agree but we always spoke with one voice. As you head into the year of The Power of One, I want both of you to know how much I treasure your support. To the members of District 64, thank you for your support and your dedication to achieving Greatness Through Growth. I look forward to seeing you all realize The Power of One. Ray MacIsaac
