Welcome to a New Toastmasters Year!

The excitement was palpable over the last couple of weeks as we closed in on the District Success goals.  Through June we chartered three clubs and got one club current with their dues.  We now have 107 clubs in District 64.  As the clubs came in, membership took care of itself.  Our members continued working the Toastmasters program right up to the end of the year with Competent Communicator, Advanced Communicator, Competent Leader, and Advanced Leader awards being submitted right up to June 30.  We surpassed our goals handily in the Education area.  For the third year in a row District 64 is a distinguished district!

We are excited to begin the New Year.  We look forward to starting more clubs and introducing more people to the Toastmasters program.  The Toastmasters program is more than a communications program.  It is more than a leadership program.  The Toastmasters program helps people become more confident, more self-assured.  It prepares people to take on challenges they wouldn’t have considered even a year previously.  Becoming a Toastmaster is like sowing the seeds for your future success.  As you become a better speaker, a better leader, and more self-assured, doors open in your work life and your personal life.

This year introduce a friend, relative, or co-worker to Toastmasters so they can sow their seeds for success.
